MIC Committee Proudly Presents Medical Innovation Conference (MIC) 2026.
The annual Medical Innovation Conference (MIC), previously known as Translational Medicine Day, brings together leaders from academia and industry to explore how lab discoveries shape patient care.
MIC is designed to inspire undergraduates by showcasing a wide range of career paths in translational medicine, from graduate research to industry roles. With panels, keynote talks, and company representatives, the event celebrates the future of medicine while connecting students with experts who are shaping it. We believe that bioengineering and medical research as a whole will be better served by students who enter industry or graduate school with an understanding of the wide breadth of options translational medicine provides them.
We want to educate undergraduate students and the general public about this diverse, rapidly-growing field and its applications. In previous iterations of the event, we had over 150 attendees who came to see our esteemed speakers and panelists during several discussions, as well as representatives from 7 companies. We are very proud of our previous achievements and are working to expand our event’s reach within the outstanding undergraduate community on campus.
